Born about 1774, probably in New Jersey. Married Abraham Marlatt in Berkeley County, Virginia, in 1795 and went with him to Ohio. Living in 1820.

Research note: mother of the two eldest sons?
Abraham and John were born before the 1795 marriage. No earlier wife of their father has been found, and a DNA segment shared by descendants of John, of his brother Jacob and of the Maple family suggests that Mary was John’s mother too.
